Last night I had the fish dream again. The very first time I had the dream was before my spiritual awakening. It was before we moved into our home now. I had a dream I was pregnant and gave birth to a fish. It was weird and off putting. It felt gross and strange. I seen my pregnant belly and looked down. I had no clothes on and was giving birth to something. I reached down between my legs and into my hand, slid a small fish.
I had no idea what the dream meant at the time. I did some quick google searches and found that giving birth in a dream is a symbolism to giving life. Fish specifically has been used in ancient symbolism as a representation of intuition, psychic awareness, and hidden knowledge. Fish live in water, which is also a symbol of emotion, the subconscious. Dreaming of birthing a fish is a symbol of a spiritual gift being born. It often happens as you learn to tap into your spiritual gifts.
I hadn’t thought of that dream for a while now. But last night, I had a very similar dream. I was pregnant, and I looked down, and reached between my legs. This time, a big fish was born. I needed both hands to catch it, and the scales shimmered like the rainbow. Also, I was aware in this dream, and excited. I felt joy and excitement clearly. Then I woke.
I can only imagine what changes this dream will bring to my life. One thing for sure, is I’m ready. I’m already so blessed from where I started my life out. I had no clue the first dream was a breadcrumb for a life altering experience. It started me out on researching spiritual meanings and diving into the world of symbolism. Now, a big fish is coming my way. And I’ll be right here to catch it when it comes.
