For me the winter solstice is the new year. We go from the longest night of the year to more and more daylight until spring. Incorporating the solstice’s in ritual is beneficial for those practicing energetic exchange.
I view the night as a representation of the subconscious. So during the longest night of the year is a great time to tap into your subconscious. The parts of you that you are unaware of or are avoiding. Anyone on a spiritual journey understands the importance of becoming whole. Where your awareness shines light on your darkness. Understanding who you are at your core helps you find your strengths and weaknesses. So you are better prepared to move through this matrix with purpose and intention.
The goal is not perfection, it’s authenticity. Just like the seasons of nature, humanity has its own seasons. We live in waves of emotions. Using nature, focus, and intention we can change our own lives by understanding our own nature and what we are naturally good at and where we could put some focus.
We are in control of our minds and what and how we choose to engage with life. Pay attention and move with focus. When you feel lost, remember nature is always turning. The tide always changes.
This new year is another opportunity to live our dreams. We just have to know what it is we’re dreaming and live with intention.
