I’m trying to get back into a rhythm. Sometimes I feel so creative and other times I simply want to keep all my thoughts to myself. My spirit guide is always encouraging me to share my thoughts. The conversations that we have. To put that energy out into the world, along with so many others, who have started to live a more authentic life. So, here’s what’s on my mind today.
I lived out a dream of mine the other day. I sat at a table with like minded women talking about our spirit guides and all the woo woo stuff. I loved feeling like I didn’t have to explain myself. Having other humans who are living life in a similar fashion and expressing ourselves to each other was a piece of the puzzle I have been missing. Everytime I start to feel close to someone, I have always kept a wall up. I’m sure for many reasons, but for one in particular reason I will tell you. It was quite difficult growing up as a child having someone with me that no one else could see. I would talk to him when I was a child and soon realized it was a peculiar thing to do. I would get asked a lot of questions by some, others would thing I was crazy, and my parents told me to stop. It was hard for me to understand why they didn’t either believe me or they did, but didn’t want to acknowledge it. I grew up where we learned about the Bible. So I figured if they believed in the Bible then they believed in talking to Spirit. That they would understand hearing the voice of God. But that wasn’t true. My parents saw it as strange and wanted me to fit in. So, eventually I realized no one was going to believe me. I stopped sharing that part of me with people. Now, as a 48 year old woman, I experienced speaking openly with true friends about our experiences with our guides. I didn’t realize how much I needed that. I’ve been able to talk openly with my husband and kids for awhile now. They are used to my “out loud” conversations. If I randomly say something and they will say “me or someone else?” It’s funny but true. This is how I function. I’m aware I’m in a physical space with other human beings having a version of reality, but in my head I may be experiencing a vision in my imagination that looks like a movie over the reality I’m in. I hear my thoughts as voices. Different types of characters speaking to each other. Imagine if each of your emotions had a specific voice assigned to it, and your thoughts were just constantly chattering, creating an emotional environment. When all my “voices” are communicating well, I feel fantastic and I can think way clearer. Whenever I’m unaligned and I’m emotionally off somewhere, that’s when I’ll have repeating thoughts or energies. The same emotion until I realize what it is that I’m trying to communicate. I view the “voices” as guides. Our emotions physically guide us through this world. How we feel is how we act. It’s just some people are actually hearing voices, and other people experience thought differently. My guide, well I have one main one that comes to me in many forms, but I know him by how I feel when I see him. It’s the first voice I ever remember hearing. It’s calming, It’s loving. It is to me the voice of God. The voice that whispers in the back of your mind, coming straight from your heart. That’s the voice I’ve heard since my Kundalini Awakening. That’s the voice that encourages me to share my story. The voice that teaches me about divine timing. And that’s the voice that has led me to the women I get to share experiences with. These women that were right in front of me the whole time. Now I see them and they see me. Just as we are.
