I’ve heard the term twin flames a lot recently. It’s funny how people want things so bad they will believe anything. I get it. Everyone wants to know that their perfect someone is out there. That person that feels like home. Well, I’m here to tell you what I’ve learned, and what I believe. Is there someone for everyone? Absolutely. We seek connections for a reason. We do have our person out there, but you must first be whole. How can you find your perfect match if you are not perfect first? Of course perfection is in the eye of the beholder. What’s perfect for me might not be perfect for you. You have to be aware of what you truly want. What do you truly want in your partner? You can’t force someone to be who they are not. You should not put your expectations on someone else, and they shouldn’t put expectations on you either. True love is just that. True. No force. No manipulation. Stop seeing the best in someone if that’s not what they are giving you. I’m sure some of you don’t want to hear this. It’s nice living in the illusion that we tell ourselves. They did this, but said they love me. I don’t feel valued, but at least I’m not alone. What is worse? How can you ever meet your true partner if you settle because you think someone will change. Maybe they will. But have you had an honest conversation with your partner? Are they showing you change or are you wasting more time hoping and looking for the silver lining?
As I’ve gone through this Kundalini awakening I’ve learned that we are our own twin flame first. We have a masculine and feminine side to all of us. In the simplest way I can say it is our masculine side resonates with logic and feminine is emotions. There is more to it then that, but it gives you an idea. When we balance our own energies we become whole. I had no idea of this until it happened to me, but being able to balance emotions with logic is huge. I don’t let my emotions run me wild and I am not so logical that emotions seem invalid. I am able to think clearly and make decisions based on what I truly desire with no guilt or shame of what others might think. Because I know me and my reasoning. Because of this, I’m able to see my partner for exactly who he is. He is not perfect. But he is perfect for me. I’m extremely blessed to have a partner who lets me be me, and honestly that’s what I need. He has not had a Kundalini awakening, but I look forward for the day he does.
I say Kundalini because I don’t know what other word to use to express this energy. There are spiritual awakenings where people become more aware and decide to journey through spiritualism. They may eventually experience a Kundalini awakening, and many people try to force one. A kundalini awakening is more physical, with the spiritual. There is an actual energy you feel move through you. It’s like if you are a brick house filled with old papers, and a match gets lit. Everything burns down. Everything you thought was real. Then you see everything as a whole. Your eyes can see things for as they truly are. You learn to trust your intuition. Your gut feelings. You know who is true and who is not. Everyone is at a different place in life, and that is perfect. But, you can’t force anything to be what it is not.
So, are there twin flames? Maybe. One thing I can tell you for sure is no one can give you the answer of who your twin flame is. Only you know what is right for you. Don’t look for answers from anyone else. Even me. I can only tell you my perspective. Give you information for you to think about. Contemplate. Learn who you are. You have to take responsibility for yourself and decide what you want. Then start working towards it. Your emotions will guide you. Does this feel right? Am I happy? Then use logic to put it into action. Find your peace in this chaotic world. Find out what you truly desire. It all starts at the center of who we are. Be true to you. Live authentic.
