I’m 47 years old now, and I’m just now realizing the importance of spirit. I spent most of my time trying to fit in with the people that surrounded me. I got sidetracked with the latest stories and kept busy at work. I was easily entertained and fell in line with societal norms. I never thought about anything other than surviving the days. I existed, not realizing my own potential in creating the life I wanted.
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I came to the realization that I’m alive. For whatever it’s worth. I’m here. And I can choose to appreciate that. I can choose to make an effort and make a real change. I don’t have to just experience life, but I can make conscious choices to take little steps in the directions of my goals. I can choose who I am and show up in my life with the energy that I want to radiate. I have choices, and so do you. That’s free will.
The more and more I worked on my own personal development and my journey in this life, I realized how much of the world we see is just a distraction. It’s a constant buzz for our attention. And we believe what we’re sold. We believe the only way to birth healthy babies is in hospitals. We believe the only way to get an education is through a school. We believe that our healthcare system has our best interest at heart and will help us heal. We believe the only way to earn money is to work for someone else. We believe the only way to control chaos is to have a government in charge. I feel like I could go on forever about what our society deems as normal. But it’s just the belief you are being shown. Because for every person that believes one way, there is someone else that sees a different perspective. There’s always another way to accomplish something. But the power is in what you believe to be true. It’s your belief in something that makes it true to you. So, it’s easy to hear something and if it aligns with your perspective, you believe it’s true. You don’t need proof. You stop your research and just say yep. But sometimes we choose not to see the truth. Because truth can be painful. Especially when we’ve had such strong core beliefs that no longer serve us. Growth can be hard. Consciousness’ is a decision to want to grow even if it hurts, because you know it’s for your best interest.
Our imagination is the greatest tool we have. We can imagine all sorts of possibilities and can create great masterpieces. Or we can focus our imagination on fear and create anxiety and depression. When humans live in their fight or flight stage, they are not creating and expanding their own consciousness. If we were living like children, with our imaginations fully open to experience wonder and creation could you imagine the world we would live in. Everyone fully able to be themselves and let their organic nature shine through. No need to rush or be afraid. Just living in the moment of life. Experiencing the joy of just being present.
I’m seeing people waking up from their matrix. Waking up to fully engage in their lives. Understanding that our spirits just live in these bodies and it’s all temporary. Take care of your vessel. Your body is with you through it all. Show it love and balance the fun times with the necessary times. And always remember that your thoughts create your vibe. If you want to know the energy of a person all you have to do is listen to their words and watch their actions. Your beliefs of them make you attached. Detach your emotions and view their spirit as is. Use your logical thoughts, and the emotions you want to live in, to learn your own spirit. Learn how you engage in this world. Your soul has its own purpose. Are you the vibe of love? Are you radiating love and acceptance? Are you peace? Or are you radiating something else?
Your spirit will always shine through to those paying attention. Be who you choose to be.
